Speaker Spotlight: Josh Wolf


Josh has been coaching multi-sport athletes for over 3 years and is a USAT Level I certified Coach.  He has worked with triathletes, cyclists and runners at all levels ranging from the “I literally can’t swim 25 meters without stopping” to the “I want to go to Kona” athlete.  Starting by successfully hosting triathlon clinics at a local health club, Josh eventually formed his own coaching business called Endurance Sports Clinic, in which he lead a small group of athletes to great success.
Now he has joined forces with Ben Schloegel, Jeff Whitecotton and Liz Wielding to form the most comprehensive, experienced and involved triathlon team in the Kansas City area: Team EMG. Here Josh has helped coach many athletes to new PR’s, Nationals and even World Championships, both on an individual and team-led level.
A scientist at heart, Josh stays up to date with the most recent research and coaches based off of the most cutting-edge tactics. Also, as athlete himself, he understands that sometimes there is clear line between lab life and real life.  Thus, he balances theory with reality to give you the most fluid, sound and advanced training available, all the while striking that healthy medium between training and life.  Ask anyone who has worked with Josh: the results you get are unparalleled.

Education and Personal Training

Josh holds a degree in Kinesiology from K-state.  He has been a personal trainer since 2003 and holds two nationally recognized personal training certifications: the NSCAand ACE-CPT.  In addition, he is an accomplished instructor at an accredited vo-tech College, Pinnacle Career Institute. Teaching students a wide variety of classes from Exercise Physiology and Kinesiology to Sports Nutrition and Exercise Psychology. Josh is an expert on how to train clients get get the maximum results.
He has worked with hundreds of clients over the past decade and creates programs tailored to the unique needs of individuals.  Adopting an unique, proven and exciting approach, Josh combines functional strength training with plyometrics and optimum fat-loss interval work to give you a time efficient workout second to none!   In addition, he understands that the true results come from within, and constantly helps you develop the mental skills necessary to truly make a positive change in your life.
